Great Horned Owl

While approaching the nest the photographer observed the mother owl swoop down and grab a rabbit. The owl flew around with the rabbit and came in from the backside landing in the nest. While the photographer watched, the owl proceeded to tear apart the rabbit and feed it to her three chicks.
