This image is of Liberty Falls in the Liberty Falls State Recreation Area located on the Old Edgerton Highway approximately 30 miles south from where this highway joins the Richardson Highway and approximately 10 miles from Chitina, Alaska. Liberty Falls State Recreation Area is very popular with Alaskans who use it for camping purposes after dipping their limits of Red Salmon (sockeye) from the near-by Copper River.
