Gulkana Cabin


This beautiful old trappers cabin is located along the Gulkana River. A popular float that usually begins at the outlet of Summit Lake and finishes three to four days later approximately 20 miles from Glenallen where the Gulkana River crosses the Richardson Highway. Its west and middle forks have been designated national wild and scenic rivers and are popular with rafters and canoeists. This cabin has the original sod roof.
