Field of Dandelions

A field of dandelions grows within the borders of a fenced area near a local farm in Alaska’s interior.  Dandelion (Taraxacum) is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae. They are tap-rooted biennial or perennial herbaceous plants, native to temperate areas of the Northern Hemisphere of the Old World. They are known as pests or weeds to the common person.
